This was the second piece in the series, and the only one which Gabriela Gil went back to edit after completing it. Although the use of color and composition is not as advanced as later work, the piece inevitably reflects some of the technical abilities she acquired after she had finished it the first time, particularly in the detailing of the face and lighting.
